Powerhertz will provide the modelling and connection studies for the 250MVA synchronous condenser (SYNCON) tailored solution located at the Ararat Terminal Station for Beon Energy Solutions. The contract to build the Ararat SYNCON was awarded by AEMO. The SYNCON will strengthen the power system and increase 600MW of renewable generation capacity in the Western Victoria region.
