
Renewable (BESS)
We specialise in AEMO Approved Modelling, GPS Negotiation, connection studies & Commissioning and Testing Support for connecting a Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) to the National Electricity Market (NEM) meeting AEMO and Network Service Provider (NSP) expectations. We provide end-to-end support through every step of the grid-connection journey from early feasibility through to energisation and R2 compliance. We help developers, investors, and EPCs deliver projects that are technically robust, commercially viable, and fully compliant with the National Electricity Rules (NER).

Renewable (Solar)
We provide Ro and R1 modelling using validated PSS®E and PSCAD models for the solar farm. We undertake the connection studies and carry out the GPS Negotiation with the NSP and AEMO to get the project approval to connect to the National Electricity Market (NEM). We provide end-to-end support from the preliminary feasibility studies at the inception of the solar farm through to the grid-connection, energisation, Hold Point testing and R2 model validation.

Synchronous Generation
We specialise in PSSE and PSCAD modelling of synchronous generator and condenser systems, focusing on AVR (voltage control) and governor (active power and frequency control). We develop custom PSSE models in Fortran with OEM collaboration, and build PSCAD models aligned for accurate benchmarking. Our services support AVR and governor upgrades under AEMO’s 5.3.9 process, including GPS negotiation, connection studies, and commissioning. We deliver end-to-end support from Hold Point testing and model validation to achieving R2 compliance and meeting AEMO and NSP requirements.
